Who am I?
Can you relate?
For many, many years I’ve been ‘feeling the call’ to become a writer.
It wasn’t really too clear until very recently, and today, I am FINALLY taking the plunge.
But first things first — as a kid, I was one of those inquisitive and curious children wanting to know anything and everything in life and even questioning some established norms and beliefs. I used to bombard my parents with questions to an overwhelming point sometimes, as I can recall.
A few years later this type of curiousness brought me to reading lots of books, articles, magazines, etc. All non-fiction ones, as facts matter to me more than anything else.
This inclination to the non-fiction and my thirst for knowledge rather than merely reading wondrous fiction stories and characters of an imaginative author (nothing wrong with that) might explain my affinity for the exact sciences ever since, and this culminated in a BSc in Engineering at the Universidad Anahuac Mexico Sur in Mexico City, in 1994.
Many years after that and up to these days, from a relative degree of success in the IT (Information Technology) field between other roles I came to the conclusion that I wanted to be an aspiring writer — and what a better way to conquer this than kicking off such a dream in a wonderful platform like Medium.
